CDC Question 5
In a house with 3 males, we watch a lot of action movies. I didn’t even know what DC or Marvel was prior to a few years ago. And now that’s the norm, as well as StarWars and all other battle type movies. I miss romantic comedies . I’m not one to sit down and watch a show, and honestly I don't even know what I watch if I did (although I did discover how much I love Restoring with the Fords on HGTV). I also miss movies that make me feel deeply and want to be better or live differently. On a side note, I did love Wonder Woman and think its the best romantic/action movie and can’t wait to the new one that is supposed to come out this summer.
So last night after scrolling through Netflix and Amazon, I remembered I wanted to see the Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers in a A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. We watched it and it was so so so good. I have so many thoughts to work through after seeing it, but what stands out to me right now is one man’s devotion to seeing, hearing, and loving people in front of him. I hope to write more about this for my own sake, but for now I would really love to hear what movies have made you want to live a better life. We have a lot more time at home and I would love to watch some movies that are full of hope.
